Easiest: Chem (I'm pretty sure I'll ace it), Government (I was joking around the entire test last year; got a 5), etc.

Hardest: Euro was kinda hard, and Comp Sci too (but that's cuz I self-studied O.o )

Hardest: Euro was kinda hard, and Comp Sci too (but that's cuz I self-studied O.o )

From what i've taken so far I think the "HARDEST TO GET A 5" and the "EASIEST TO GET A 5" are:

Easy = AP Calculus AB

Hardest = AP Spanish Language (brutal)

What's hard about the Physics and APUSH tests? and ap comp sci?

im in Calc AB right now and my teacher is a b itch but she preps us well for the AP test so im thinking its gonna be easy.
I took psych last year, slept/did math hw daily and still got a 5. it was seriously the easiest class i have ever taken, AP or not.

I have never taken an AP test and I don't quite understand it. I am hoping to take the World History and Bio this year. Do all the tests have a multiple choice, essay, etc?

What is the APUSH?

Do you think I could self study for the calc ab?

I think the Calculus, Psych, Econ, Enviro, and Stat tests are the easiest.

<<< Hardest = AP Spanish Language (brutal) >>>

Advantage of been Hispanic: 5 in AP Spanish Language AND 5 in AP Spanish Literature without studying. =D Not once.

@OKgirl: APUSH is ap us history.

Easiest: AP Psychology

I feel I could have not taken a class and never cracked open a study guide and still gotten a 3.

Hardest: Spanish Literature

I haven't actually taken it, but for a non-native speaker, it seems pretty near impossible (the same stuff as English literature, but in a language you're not familiar with?)

The AP histories depend entirely upon how much you study.

I strongly disagree that ppl should use statistics to derive any type of solid conclusion. (Not just for the APs, but many other things)
For example, more than 43% got 5's in AP Calculus BC. WOW! but in no way watsoever does that mean that the test itself is incredibly easy. It's probably due to the fact that ppl who take BC are that much more studious, hardworking, and serious about ap tests.

also, look at the Enviro stats. it's extremely low, but everyone knows it's one of the easiest aps. Probably the reason for the percentage is that a lot of ppl know it's easy and don't study too much. then they don't do so well.

Definitely AP Psychology is the easiest I've ever done.
None of them seemed incredibly difficult, but Physics B was pretty bad - of course, I did have a teacher who wasn't really a teacher, was an engineer for 30 years, and decided, "Hey, I'll go ruin some kids' years and teach AP physics! which I definitely didn't major in!!" :]
I thought the Latin: Vergil exam could have been pretty hard, but I was prepared for it.

physics C has a very high 4 and 5 rate... so how is that the hardest.

i can't remember if i heard spanish is really easy or really hard, but the reason was because of all the native speakers that take it. can anyone shed some light on this?

^ because mostly it is the really smart kids that take physics c. Most are scared ****less after physics b... yeah, like me.

It is the same with Calculus AB and BC. Why is there a significantly larger percentage of 5's on BC than AB? Because most of the smart kids took BC.

Spanish might be a little difficult for native speakers who rely on "sounding" the sentence out, but for fluent Spanish speakers it shouldn't be too hard. It is, however, hell for the rest of us.

Easiest: Macroeconomics

Hardest: Spanish Language

I've only taken two. But here are my opinions:

APUSH: HARD. The MC didn't have enough time, and I'm generally one to finish VERY early. I blanked on the writing and had WAY too much time for the FRQs.

Chem: Easyyyy, oh so easy. I had half an hour to spare on the multiple choice and extra time on all of the free response, which I got the vasttt majority of correct when we did them in class later.

But personally, I adore science and I loathe history, so that probably had something to do with it haha.

easy: US government
hard: i would think any language exam. never taken one, wouldn't know, but they are the objects of my greatest fear.

easy: apush
hard: music theory.

Easiest for me: US Gov
Hardest for me: English Lit (I am NOT a language arts person at all.)

Easiest: bio, just because i prepared the most for it
Calc was moderate (AB)
SPANISH WAS EFFING HARD

"Chem: Easyyyy, oh so easy. I had half an hour to spare on the multiple choice and extra time on all of the free response, which I got the vasttt majority of correct when we did them in class later."

The 2008 chemistry exam is the easiest one I've ever seen. It's usually considered one of the harder exams.

"physics C has a very high 4 and 5 rate... so how is that the hardest."

A test can be incredibly hard without being the hardest to score a 4 or 5 on. The scores depend on how well people do on a relative scale: if the best tests are scoring 20%, they're still going to get a 5.

The hardest AP I've taken is AP Spanish Lang. I think for non-native speakers, the test is really comprehensive and demands a lot from you.

The easiest I guess was Chem - the material wasn't too hard, and I answered almost everything in the Free-Response except for one section which we hadn't covered in time for the AP (solid state), but it was a minor thing. However, a lot of people said it was easier this year, so I don't know...

In general I think the languages for non-native speakers as well as Physics C are hardest. If you have trouble memorizing things though, any History AP or the Bio one will probably be bad too.
