In my school, the general consensus is that chem is the hardest and psych is the easiest, but...I thought chem was really easy. Then again, it's all subjective...I'd probably say physics is the hardest, though.

easy-bio/apush/math
hard-lit & lang

yeah people aren't joking about the physics exam it was really tough and I thought I failed it because of the frq but I got a 4 and it was only B.

Easiest = World History
Hardest= Chemistry

Easiest: Calc (AB or BC pretty much)
Hardest: FRENCH. (or spanish/latin/etc) (as everyone expects for a world language for non-natives)

Easiest: Psych
Hardest: Spanish Language

Easiest: AP Bio for me (Even though, don't around 90% of people who take AP Chinese get a 5?)
Hardest: AP Chemistry, even though I am sure that AP Physics was probably very difficult

Easiest: Psych, Calc AB, Bio, Chem, Comp Sci AB, Calc BC

Hardest: PHYSICS C MECHANICS FREE RESPONSE!!!!!! I would've gotten a 5 if not for that...

E/M was hard too, but I got a 5 on it, so I can't really say that it's the toughest. I thought the MC was hard though.

I agree--it's very subjective. Physics is a really hard AP, but I didn't think it was extraordinarily hard when I took it because I was well-prepared. That factors in too. If you have a really bad teacher, the test is going to seem harder to you. At my school nobody does well at the AP Phycology tests because the teacher can't teach. People do well at the AP Physics test because the teacher is really good, even if the class is difficult.

I've only taken two APs, so I'm not really sure which I'd say was harder/easier. I guess we'll see.

Easiest: Statistics (had a great teacher, yay!)
Hardest: Biology (horrible teacher, had to self-study for a lot of it)

Easiest: Gov
Hardest: Chem

Honorable mention: French (normally easy, but there was a huge echo in the listening section, and they let us do it over, but they DIDN'T tell us we'd have to do READING over again as well, and the section was so much harder the second time around.) I hope it didn't bring my grade down, or I'm gonna be so P.O.ed.

Easiest: AP Euro
Hardest: Calc. Because I didn't study. Otherwise, I think it would have been easier.

Easiest - either Calc BC because of the curve or Chemistry if you don't take the curve into account
Hardest - art history by far

Easiest: English Language.

This test was an absolute JOKE, the MC (which is 45% of your grade) is far easier than SAT critical reading passages.

The essays are completely bs-able and anyone with decent writing ability will fare very well. It's a free 5, even if you can't write that well...

I did not prepare for the exam at all...junior year honors english was more than enough preparation. If you are confident in your writing abilities, take this AP. You do not need preparation.

Hardest: AP Chemistry

I actually didn't find it that hard, but it nailed me and I got a 4 so I have no right to say anything. I still wonder how that happened, but oh well. Chem is difficult because you need to know concepts to a deeper level and apply some math as well...it isn't as straightforward as bio, which is much easier.

(Opinion based on immediately after AP)
Easiest:Euro
Hardest:APES

Honestly, I studied 6 hours in between January when my class ended and the AP test for APES. I thought I failed because I eliminated most MC down to 2/3 answers and guessed from there. I was sure on 10 questions on the entire thing. I answered the DBQ, 2 FRQ's. Did not answer the second. Euro I thought I did the best. The FRQ's on the make-up were freakishly specific but meh. I thought I had it. MC didn't seem too bad. I actually read my PR book 3 times or so. Read a few chapters in my textbook in-depth. Did some practices at home in PR and Barron's.

In reality:
Bio:5
Calc:5
APES:5
EURO:4 (***.)

Easiest: Biology (heh)
Hardest: Spanish Language

Easiest: Calc BC or Bio
Hardest: Spanish Language!!!!

easiest: Calc BC
hardest: physic C: mech

5's on both....but still....mech was a pretty beasty test this year...

We should probably be making a list....

Easiest: Microecon (by miles...)

Hardest: English Lang

Easy: AP CHINESE LOL
Hardest: Physics C Mech FR
