What AP classes do you think are the hardest?

I know a few people who have taken like all the AP's our school offers and those who have taken AP Music Theory say that's the hardest because the ear training is practically impossible. I'm taking that on May 9 lol...we'll see how that goes.

Those who haven't taken that one usually say either the physics (B i think) or US Gov.

Statistically I believe the US Gov is the one that gets the fewest 5's.

Of course, this is all for the exams, not the classes.

As far as the classes, go, I'd say US Hist and World Hist are pretty damn hard.

I'm a math-science type of person, and still Physics C is by far the hardest AP class for me. You either get it or you don't. Reading the chapters and doing the homework sets won't help that much if you are clueless to begin with.

Classes like World History and US Government are not hard, they just require a lot of reading.

ive taken: apush, apcalc ab & bc, ap bio, ap chem and ap music.
IMO: AP Music is hardest, unless you have taken CM training since you were 5. (i say ap music is hardest, and i've played violin for 13+ years)..
ap chem, though didnt take ap test yet, is hard for me right now.. and apush is EASY, though the test is UNPREDICTABLE (they all are, but history is scary).

im guessing apphysics is hard too

AP FRENCH LANGUAGE is DEATH. ^_^

For me I thought AP World History was the easiest and AP Biology was the hardest.

It seems like the history ones are the hardest to study for.

AP Music Theory is kicking my ass. The writing portions are not so hard, but the ear training is ridiculously hard. I have been playing classical music since the age of 7 and am having a very difficult time doing the ear training sections.

That and AP Physics C are the two hardest classes I have personally taken.

AP French... it's easy and i get an easy A but somehow everyone scores like 1 or 2 at our school so i dont actually KNOW anything

the test i heard is a killer on your brain cells.... i am so so mad that it will be on my first test day... may 2.

The AP Music Theory is hard for me too. I have the exact same problem. The ear training is just brutal. I've managed a good grade in the class: A+ 1st qurarter, B second quarter, A- second quarter and A+ fourth quarter (only one assignment 4th).

But a 3 on the exam would be GREAT considering we're already practicing and it's just killing me. I MAYBE get half of the ear training quesitons. Probably less.

AP Latin is incredibly difficult.

For those of you freaking about Music Theory, if your composition skills and multiple choice skills are good enough, they will compensate for the bad ear training. I was awful at ear training, but managed a 4.

5 Composition/Multiple Choice subscore
2 Aural/Singing Subscore

while not necessarily the hardest test per se, adcoms highly respect: Euro, Physics, Chem, Calc & Literature.

My guess is that Govt scores are lower bcos its a one semester course at a lot of schools, kids are finished in mid-Jan, and have three months to forget the material or self-study. Further, it is generally taken senior year.....and competes with senior-itis. LOL

I HATE AP Statistics. Easily the worst class I've ever taken. Then again, my teacher is a really poor instructor.

I'd think the hardest AP classes are the ones in which you have the least interest. Some people say APUS is the hardest, but it was my favorite class last semester, even though it was my only AP. My favorite this semester is AP Spanish, only because I'm so interested in it.

I thought the ear training was the easiest part of AP music theory!

The students at my school taking AP chemistry found it very hard. Only one got a 5; quite a few got 4s. To our credit, noone was below a 3.

ap physics c is probably the hardest one for me. gov and econ are pretty easy, they come pretty naturally to me. music theory.. ive been taking music theory classes since 4th grade..... so its not too hard for me.

Physics C and Computer Science AB

I also think it depends on your school. AP chem is quite possibly the scariest possible class to take here. The teacher was the Ohio chemistry teacher of the year or something, so it's super intense. It's definetely the smallest enrolled class. Calc is also known as a killer. My school offers about 12 AP's though, so not the full set

Physics C.... Homework took me hours... Especially hate those calculus proofs of the formula.

Proving is the hardest part in physics...

I've heard AP U.S. is the hardest...dunno why...haven't taken it yet, but I'm going to next year, so I'm a little worried.
