Hardest AP Course?

AP Physics C, all AP foreign languages, and maybe AP English Literature.

AP Latin Virgil is quite difficult.

At my school, AP Euro is prob the hardest. We have a 5 page paper due every Monday. You know a class is hard when you look forward to a test because it is a day that an essay isn’t due. We take straight notes all period every day unless there’s a test. The next hardest class in our school is trig/analytic geometry. It’s harder than AP Calc. At least it was for me.

^^^^^LOL!!! love MitHopeful’s interpretation of “Hard” AP, lmao!!! And yeah AP Physics C hands down, and for some it depends whether you are better at memorizing or more logical, and so Calc and Physics B are great if you are logical, and if you memorize, statistics and bio will be a breeze.

in my opinion…

hard:

AP Biology (least favorite subject, so duh)
APUSH

medium:

AP Chem
AP Music (the theory itself isn’t hard, but aural skills KILL me)
AP <language, including=“” english=“”></language,>

easy:

AP Calc AB & BC
AP Physics B
AP Stats

unknown:

APES
AP Psych (depends on the teacher)
AP World

10char
LMAO!

And kicka$$. :)

I’d say Physics C. At my school Calc BC is supposedly quite hard but I’m actually having a pretty easy time of it thus far. I had an awful time with pre-calc. I have no idea why which is a trifle frustrating, but whatever.

Also, at my school AP Gov is a ridiculously hard course. I realize the AP test is really easy, but the class is just pretty difficult. My Lit, Euro, APUSH, AP Latin: Virgil and AP Calc BC classes have ALL been easier lol.

Just goes to show you it really does depend on the school and teacher.

I don’t see why so many people consider AP Physics C to be so difficult. But perhaps that’s because I’ve yet to get into electricity and magnetism. Mechanics is easy.

I would say APUSH and AP World, simply because you have so much to learn and keep track of.

AP Chemistry is considered the hardest at my school, but AP Music Theory kind of changed that last year.

My midterm was a five hour long exam, but we had a 100% AP pass rate, so I guess it was worth it.

AP Bio is the hardest AP at my school

We only have Euro, Bio, English (Language + Literature), and Gov though.

At my school I think AP Bio is the hardest : ie more people drop out and fail than any other ap class

ummmmm my school offers alot but most of them are blow off classes sooo studying for the AP tests are alllll on your own.

AND. AP Physics? oh god. I hated that class. buuuuut that’s becuase I suck at physics and because i’m preeeetty sure my teacher shouldn’t even be teaching that class.

Of the seven ap classes I’ve taken (past years and now)…
super easy-
AP Comp Sci A
AP Calc AB
Moderately Easy-
AP US History
AP Spanish
AP Physics C E/M (charge, flux and voltage seemed pretty easy, though the current unit on capacitors is somewhat confusing, so It probably won’t be on this list for long)
Medium-
AP Physics C Newtonian Mechanics
Hard-
AP Comp gov (teacher gave sooooo much work lol).

AP Physics C and AP Calculus BC

I’ve never taken an AP but this guy has some strong thoughts on AP Chem. :'D
[AP Chemistry Rant - YouTube](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

Hardest: Japanese
Courses that are in the same range: Spanish and French.

These guys make Physics look extremely easy, besides it is easy anyways. English is next, para mi.

At above, current on capacitors :stuck_out_tongue: Us electrical engineers get to laugh if it is supposed to be difficult. :)

It is all relative. We used to have an extremely hard AP chem teacher which gave many straight A students C’s. She had a 70% 5 score rate on the AP test. Now our teacher is super easy but this Is his first year so who knows how good the AP scores will be. I would say Calc BC at my school. APUSH is a joke and most kids pass the exam

im taking B+C (3 physics exams) in one yr w/o calc and i find it pretty fun and a little easy lol

hardest gotta be us history. it’s like my brain wasn’t wired for it lol

AP physics “C” E/M hands down the hardest at my school.
I’m really good in math, in fact i got a 5 on my AP calculus BC exam. But AP physics C was just challenging. I also took AP English, AP statistics, AP computer science and they were fairly easy. It can also depend on the teacher though. AP chemistry, AP biology, and APUSH is in the middle.

At my school AP Calc is considered by far the hardest, as far as the class itself goes, but almost everyone gets a 5 on the AP Test because the teacher is really good, although he gives a lot of homework and makes his tests insanely hard, way harder than the AP Test is.

AP Biology is considered 2nd hardest, we don’t have AP Chemistry (Although next year I’m pretty sure they will start it, because my Chem teacher is brand new replacing the old one that everybody hated and people actually like Chemistry now, and she said she wants to teach it next year and is trying to get enough kids to have an AP Class) I don’t actually see many people on CC take this as a Sophomore, but almost everybody who takes this class does as a sophomore, the teacher almost recommends it because Biology is fresh in your head, most students do well on the test, teacher apparently is pretty good.

AP Euro is considered hard depending on which teacher you have, the teacher I have is a really good teacher, our only homework is reading 8-10 pages a night and doing a chapter outline and key term flashcards which we get 2 weeks to do. All DBQs and FRQs are in class, it’s recommended that you prepare for the FRQ the night before though because he gives you the topic it will be on, and you obviously should research it a little bit so you will know what you are talking about.

The other teacher, is a mommy type teacher that gives you a ton of busy work, never curves (The other one does) and doesn’t have her kids do near as well on the AP Exam. Less than half of her students get a C or higher, and even straight A students have failed her class. So it really depends on the teacher, especially for history classes. But the work will never be difficult or complex work, just tedious and annoying.

The easiest AP Class is considered APES, but people do bad on the AP Exam because a lot of people who have no business taking an AP Class decide to take that class as there only AP in High School, and end up failing and getting low on the AP Test, but the kids who actually belong in the class in the first place do fine.

AP Gov is considered a joke, I don’t know how people do on the AP Test, but almost no homework is given and even average students who take it get at least a B if not an A. It’s kinda considered the Senioritis AP Class.

Hardest at my school is AP Physics B.

We don’t have C, and we only offer Euro, Lit, Bio, Art, Calc AB, and Psych. I’ve taken/am taking all of these classes except Bio and Psych, and I have also taken the Spanish exam and I’m doing computer science online. I didn’t think Physics was very hard, but none of them have been super hard for me, however I would say Spanish was the most challenging (got a 5).
