Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

yes it is lol

Yes, it is. :D

i hope harry stops being a giant pansy and believing in the "power of love"...if the book ends with voldy being killed because of "love" i will burn it

Okay, it is.

I am confident that that's how it will work, PK. In some dire situation near the end of the book [perhaps in a final battle with everyone else dead except for Harry and Volderskates], Harry will remember Dumbledore's words about love in the first book, eventually destroying Volderskates with little or no effort, thus proving that the "power of love" is immeasurably strong [and hence, evil is nothing compared to love ].

yea that would be terrible...i want him to like train and become like an uber wizard and pwn everyone's ass

I see./n/

lolol

10chars

Here are some guesses:
Sirius returns to fight at Harry's side. One of the Weasley brothers dead, but not Ron or the twins--better Charlie or Percy. Mr. Weasly dies in battle. Draco dead, and in an unexpected, heroic way at the last minute. Both his parents dead, maybe by dementors. Lupin dead. Maybe even Tonks, but more likely she'll be widowed with his baby. Bill will have warewolf powers at the final battle, but use them for the good. Fleur may do something noble--again. Dumbledore will be Harry's mentor from his painting. The chosen one could be Neville Longbottom after all, and Harry supports him in the final battle. I would expect that Voldemort will die at the end, maybe by Neville's hand. Dudley dies. I like the idea that Harry's scar is the horcrux.
At the end, Hermoine is an auror married to Ron, Ron is a professional Quidditch player, Hagrid is someone in the ministry of magic, of course Harry is the DDA teacher--finally finding his 'true home', and he lives with Sirius at other times. Harry ends up with Ginny, and Neville with Luna. Neville's parents live with them, still a little handicapped and insane, but much better. There is a hint of more dark portents in the future, just to give them all something to fight. Or what Chaos said, lol.

Eh, I like my theory. I'll revise it and post a more detailed version.

I think the Harry being a Horcrux is a plausible theory. When voldy ak'ed him, he might have made him a horcrux by mistake. Or-get this- GINNY is a horcrux. In book 2, Voldy says he poured some of his soul into her! POURED SOME OF HIS SOUL!? And then Harry will have to kill ginny in some noble way.
Maybe a double suicide?

Anywayz, so we are agreed that theres going to be a huge Apocaliptic- Armegedon battle at the end between the forces of good and evil? It seems that everyone is saying that.

the "huge Apocaliptic- Armegedon battle" will most likely consist of Harry hiding behind other, more powerful wizards while he stays in the back trying to disarm the people who are throwing killing curses at him and then somehow he will miraculously use the "power of love" to defeat his enemies....

this series started to suck after the 5th book...the kid's going to be 17 and he's a weakling who relies on his friends for everything

Harry Potter is too much ingrained in my psyche. I had a dream about JK Rowling on the Today Show.

I haven't had a Harry Potter dream since... um, Half-Blood Prince came out.

@tanyanubin...don't you mean Snape...Sirius is dead.

No. Remember how Sirius died? He went through some doorway. It would be easy to have him come back out, wouldn't it? She didn't exlplain it very well.

Nah.

What I think should happen is Harry should tie himself to a string, then go into the veil, then tug on the string when he gets Sirius so Hermione and Ron can pull him out. See? Foolproof.

Yeah, I hated that veil thing. It took me a while to figure out he was dead.

I'm glad the book isn't too many pages. My HP #4 is in like, 6 chunks of book all stuffed inside a rotting cover with a missing jacket. These books should last a lifetime!

Anyone going to a midnight magic party? Or not preordering and spluring on a deluxe edition? I kind of want to since it's that last book and I've been reading since I was 7 or whatever, but then again...I want that baby at midnight!

What veil?

in OOTP when sirius is fighting by the stone dias with the arch and he gets thrown through the arch which has a veil hanging from it and disappears. gasps for breath
I do sorta agree with PKswmr76. Harry really isn't that good of a wizard no matter what they say. he always got away out of luck. If he was in a duel 1 on 1 with any death eater and no port keys around, he'd most likely die.
The "power of love" concept really is irksome. It's too intangible to be a defensive charm against death :(
