Randomly, I think Harry is a Horcrux. Slughorn said it was possible to use a living being as one- e.g. Nagini...

I mean, it makes sense- Voldemort transfered some of himself to Harry, thus the Parsletongue, phoenix feather, etc- exactly 1/7 I wonder...

And in Chamber of Secrets, Riddle told Harry that only the heir of Slytherin could control the basilisk, and that Parsletongue wouldn't help-but Harry never spoke to it... If he had, and he was a horcrux, then the basilisk would have had to listen to him also, as Riddle was a horcrux himself (or the diary was)...

And Voldemort was going to finish Harry off- what if it wasn't the killing curse he was hit with but a binding ritual thing and then tried to kill him so he could use the skeleton of his would-have-been-antagonist as the Horcrux regardless if he was an infant? Voldemort is sick- the fact that he wants a genocide of all people without magic kind of gives him away...

Since the curse bounced off Harry, it shouldn't have left a mark- I think that his scar's a horcrux mark. AND if Harry is an heir of Gryffindor, disregarding how unlikely that would be, then Voldemort would have something from Gryffindor- therefore completing the list- the locket, the snake, the ring, the diary, the cup of Hufflepuff and something of Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. That's seven items which he wants.

So I think Harry will have to destroy the other Horcruxes then, having weakened Voldemort so he is simply a strong opponent but is beatable, duel him, kill him, then turn around and kill himself...

Ron and Hermione will marry and have a first-born son named Harry, Ginny will be depressed, but then do something with her life, Snape will have turned out to be in cahoots in the plan to kill Voldemort for reasons we haven't discovered, and the wizarding world will begin to clean up the mess Voldemort gave while honoring Harry even more than he was- e.g. statues, national holidays, etc.
