Sorry if I sound a little uninformed - I'm just starting to look into this stuff.

I just finished my sophomore year at a SUNY with a 3.7 as an econ/music double major. My GPA was higher and dropped, but I am confident I can pull it up to at least a 3.8.

Anyway, I was looking into the HBS 2+2 program. My dream career is in film scoring, which is a fantastic combination of music and self-management. However, I also have an interest in finance/economics (hence the second major), which is why I think the 2+2 program is appropriate for me. I do have a few questions though:

I know that 2+2 is relatively new and targets a different demographic of applicants. Is it incredibly popular, though? It seems anybody who knows anything about business on here is looking to apply.

I know that 2+2 doesn't look for the same business background as the traditional Harvard MBA. Would it matter if my internships were still with the traditional Finance/Accounting companies (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc...) or would smaller non-profits focused on my artistic interests be preferred?

Any other tips/thoughts would really be appreciated

Thanks!
