Thanks to everyone who actually read all of this!

no! I’m sorry i had a 34 ACT!

Everything looks good, strong ecs, good test scores. That GPA will definitely hurt you though. Applying as an international hurts a bit too. I would say reaches for all. Was the internship at Stanford free, paid, or was there a cost?

Woah! I’m a Californian resident!

BUMP!

Don’t bump after 29 minutes.

No one should ever asked to be chanced to Harvard and Stanford. EVER. With acceptance rates below 6%, they are a high reach for everybody. Your tests scores are great, your EC’s are good, but your GPA is low. Write some killer essays and who knows?

You will probably get acceptances to most UC campuses. Good luck!

I’ve been writing my essay ever since sophomore summer. Although, I’ve never asked my counselors to read them. Do you have any advice to write a killer essay?

Lol totally skipped over that part. Still reaches for everything besides the UC’s which are mid to high matches. Good profile though. Which internship was it at Stanford? Chance me back for fun if ya want.

Unless your counselors are excellent expository writers, I’d turn to the English faculty instead. As for advice, you want the reader to connect with you in the few minutes s/he is reading the essays. Make it personal. You have to come alive off the paper. Don’t be trite or bland. Edit, edit, edit.

No, it was free haha. I emailed a ton of professors…

@tooty44 sorry dude, idk how to. This is my first thread in this site. I would if i knew hha.
