Harvard Apparel = tacky?

Would most students consider wearing Harvard apparel (on and/or off campus) tacky?

On campus, no. They are quite prevalent.

Off campus, perhaps.

Which campus are you speaking of?

if you are on Harvard Campus...
people will think you are ok

if you aren't on Harvard Campus...
people will think you are really smart or that you are a complete dick

if you don't go to Harvard...
you are just an *******

Ivy2b: Either one, though I was originally wondering about Harvard.

I'm just a bit curious - my brother refrains from wearing his Yale stuff when he comes home, but told me that I'd be fine with mine because kids wear Harvard stuff anyway (even if they don't attend/plan on attending).

I'd like to have some school spirit (my friends sport their college gear 5 days a week now) but at the same time not come off as "a complete dick." It seems as if that might not be possible.

On a side note, I feel completely comfortable wearing my Stanford stuff.

coldbeverage -- are you going to both admit weekends? What did you decide about the timing. I'm doing both -- flying from SF to Boston on Saturday.
The fact that wearing a Stanford shirt is easier than a Harvard one must mean something ;)

whylion: i'm flying to boston overnight on the 20th and arriving just in time for the start of prefrosh.

and yes, it means something - whether or not it's me, i'm not sure, haha.

coldbeverage -- I'm flying out of SF airport on Saturday morning. Didn't want to miss the party on Friday night! I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do both.

dualityim is pretty right, I think.
