Harvard bound? Asian struggles with math

<p>Hello I would appreciate an objective and good evaluation of my chances so that i can gain some perspective on whether harvard is a good fit for me! Thanks!</p>

GPA: 3.86 UW, 4.25 W
ACT: 36W, 36R, 32M, 31S, 11E, 34 Comp
SAT: 800W, 800CR, 720M, 11E, 2320 Comp
SATII: 800Lit, 760 World, 750 US History
APs: 10 AP Exams, four on 2 tests, rest are 5s. 12 AP classes.</p>

<p>ECs:
-Founder President of not-for-profit organization
-Vice president of German Club
-Business experience</p>

<p>Work XP:
-Sales and project manager at local tech firm (we net around 2k a month)
-Free Lance writing
-Chief Editor of online tech publication
-Paid photographer</p>

<p>Awards:
-AATG Scholar Ship winner
-National Writing Contest winner
-National AP Scholar
-National Merit Semi-Finalist
-Many awards for achievements in foreign langauge as well as journalism</p>

<p>Notes:
-My entrie application is very business oriented
-My essays are excellent
-I like mexican (URM) food</p>

<p>Did your school sent many to Harvard previously? How many of those had similar profile and stat like you? Does your school use Naviance?</p>

<p>No idea what your chances are, but you look like a perfectly reasonable candidate. It really doesn't look like you suck at math. 720 and 34 are excellent scores.</p>

<p>If you've never received an A in math shouldn't your UW GPA be 3.75?</p>

<p>My son never got an A in English till his senior year when he was in non-honors. It may have been somewhat offset by getting an 800 on CR. You don't have to have a perfect record if you are interesting in some other way.</p>

<p>we do not 'officially' rank but i believe i am somewhere 60 / 1100</p>

<p>know however that 50% percentile is 3.4 at my school.</p>
