Harvard Chances!

Want proof that Columbia takes more than 13% of perfect scorers. Here:
<a href="http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/applications/stats.php%5B/url%5D">http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/applications/stats.php</a></p>

Columbia's admit rate is 12.8%. Naturally, surely a perfect scorer would have better than a 13% chance. EVEN IF SAT SCORES WERE COMPLETELY DISREGARDED, perfect scorers on average have stronger GPAs and are more accomplished than non-perfect scorers.

dude, you have no proof.....that link shows me nothing....NEXT!

no gangsta, not even from srilanka, should be using the cutdown troll....

You guys have a very false image of admissions to Harvard.

This guy OBVIOUSLY has a VERY good chance of getting in. He has near perfect scores on SAT IIs and strong extra curriculars. Based on this information alone, I would say he has a very good chance of getting in. However, he also has the hook of being a USAMO qualifier.

On a more general note, while being "unique" is all and well and does help in admissions, the process is very score/grade oriented. The OP obviously has superb scores and grades and uniqueness being a USAMO qualifier. There are clearly NOT "5000 of you." Further, being a USAMO qualifier is unique in it of itself.

Don_Corleone, you have a very good chance. Good luck with your application!

dayum!!!! USAMO! i was already quite happy in being an AIME qualifier...but now its like 0o ugh...i think some people here are jealous/bitter (me included). damn u asian boys and ur perfect standarized test scores! >< i'd say 80% for you but with ivy leagues u never know.
