@yerin2021 Mine was with an older alumni and he was pretty awesome and impressed from what I recall and he said “He’ll remember me” and wished me luck. Hoping for the best.
@srk2017 are you an Indian applicant?
Mine was 15 minutes
Should i be really worried
@nillupa How was it only 15 min? What did you guys do?
We just had a conversation. It might even have been less than 15 minutes but certainly not more
No interview yet!! I’m kinda freaking out because I know a few kids who lived in the same area I do (and currently attending Harvard), and they completed their interview within a week of submitting their SCEA applications.
I know, I know, I know I should not be concerned about this, but it is bothering me. I think I just really want to experience the “full” application process. Plus, I just love socializing with others and getting to meet new people.
No @ModiModi - Nice name
@DoctorMD, relax. Your application will be considered fairly and equally even without an interview.
No interview for me either. But I can share this: I have a website that is exclusively targeted to people in Texas. I just visited Google Analytics to look at the location of viewers. Guess what? Boston Mass just appeared within the last week. I know it is Harvard. I seldom see visitors from other states. My essay discussed my web site. So they not only reviewed my application, there was enough interest for them to visit my web site.
Mine was about 1.5 hours, with an older alum - who had done only her PhD from Harvard.
@srk2017 are u a shah rukh khan fan?
I have a skype interview with an adcom :((
Anny suggestion? Any tip?
Hellpp
Im just freaking out
@yerin2021 any adcom skype interview tip for me?
Who was your interviewer?
Almost two hours, we talked a lot longer than we meant because we both arrived early!
@sungirl - relax - these interviews are meant to be nice and easy. Not meant as elimination tools.
I am sure @yerin2021 or @CrimsonZa or any other OOC applicants can provide details of their interview, but just chill.
My interview was with an alum that was in the same graduating class as Matt Damon! Super cool. Our conversation was about an hour…I thought it went really well! We touched on a general topics, going particularly in depth with one of my extracurriculars. I’m so nervous for the decision omg
@HYPSPlease AHHH that’s AWESOME!!!
That’s so exciting wow I’m so happy for you!! It’s just exhilarating to know that they’re actually reviewing our applications.
Thanks for letting me know.
@sungirl Don’t be nervous. My AO was the one in charge of sub-saharan Africa so if u r from there then we have the same one. They are just really chill so be yourself. I tried to prep but it was kinda pointless cause you don’t know what the questions r going to be. Prep but also be honest/yourself, I guess? Don’t worry too much.
My interview lasted an hour.
So as we are all super stressed out right now, I thought we could talk about something else. Harvard related but still fun.
What aspect of the Harvard experience(non-academic) are you all looking forward too?
For me, I think Harvard-Yale game and Housing day!!!
I wanna eat in Annenberg :((
