lucky guys just take stanford lol . Im committed to BU

How many kids do they take usually? 20? 30?

@BigBrained It depends on their yield. Last year they took 63. Two years ago they accepted 0. As other have said, it wouldn’t be too unreasonable to expect about 30-40 to be accepted from the waitlist this year.

How many total are waitlisted ?

@BigBrained Harvard doesn’t announce the number of students it waitlists but the other ivy league colleges typically waitlist 1200-1400 students.

did anyone get a call

Nope! They should start calling today around 4-5 though, based on last year.

Hey can anyone help me out? I uploaded my LOCI to the applicant portal under upload materials section a month ago, but I randomly checked today and realized there was a specific spot called “Waitlist Material Upload” to send in the information. Was this an option before that I totally missed? What should I do now? any help is appreciated

Yes, it has been an option. I almost did that too at first. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but I would definitely send it under the waitlist material upload right now.

@troublemint lol I did the exact same thing as you in april but realized it may 3rd

I wouldn’t send it again, because I’m sure they received it through the upload materials. I wouldn’t worry @troublemint

HEY YOLL ITS 4 LET THE CALLS START ROLLING IN

@troublemint you must upload it in the waitlist section. Cuz when I called harvard and asked they said to resend it

@getmeintoUPENN shoot that’s so unfortunate. Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be kicking myself in the back for a while tho :frowning:

Wow, I am amazed by seeing where all of you are already committed to!

My D had been wait listed only in Harvard and Cornell and desperately hoping against hope to get in one of these two. She committed to an in-state school (her only option). I know it may be controversial, but those who already got committed to an IVY school already should be fair to leave this wait list, giving others that didn’t get into any IVY, a chance!

preach @VAResident

@VAResident Respectfully, I think that even though people may be committed to Ivy schools that they are free to attend Harvard should they get off the waitlist. Even though they may be committed to an Ivy or other prestigious schools, Harvard may be a better option and I think it’s their right to continue to pursue the waitlist.

Ummmm that would be nice everyone plz leave Stanford waitlist
