pleaseeee bumppp

Your SAT score is amazing, your ec’s are pretty good and the best part is you show a definite interest in the science/engineering field. You GPA is great, but most applying have a 4.0 just saying but yours is close enough, shouldnt hurt you. Overall, i think you have a great shot if u write good essays.

Cornell: Low reach/High Match
Harvard: High Reach
Columbia: Mid Reach
Duke: Low reach
Emory: You should get in here
NYU: You will get in here (unless if you want to go to Stern, which is a high match)
Umich: You will get in here

Overall, you are have decent EC’s, grades and scores, but you don’t have anything too amazing.

Also, you don’t need to take Math II or Physics, unless if you know that you can get easy 800s.

I have a gut feeling that you put Columbia/NYU out there for its location because they are really not that good engineering wise
I’m gonna suggest you to look at Carnegie Mellon and MIT
btw your scores are AMAZING, so stop worrying :)

Academics are solid (courseload, SAT, gpa), you have solid leadership, and seem be well accomplished. Also, you’re a female applying for engineering which is a semi-hook in its own right. Obviously Harvard’s a tough call, but you should do well applying to Cornell, Duke, and Columbia.

nyu doesn’t have an engineering program, nor does emory.

WOW, you have impressive academic credentials. Solid EC’s as well, so I’d say the only thing against you would be the statistical odds of admission (Harvard & ivies). You might have better odds at Columbia if you’ve done a summer program with them (but I’m not positive they actually consider that). Overall, you’re a strong candidate for an elite school. The only thing is that everyone else is amazing too.

Chance me back?
