<p>Does anyone know to what degree, if any, HES students have access to Harvard club sports like Ultimate Frisbee? I have heard they can join them, I have heard they can not. I don't know. Also, what about fairly small groups like Harvard's Dungeons & Dragons club? I would think a group like that wouldn't be so exclusive as to prohibit HES students, but again I don't know.</p>
<p>HES is aimed at adult learners. I’d be surprised if any HES students have an interest in or the time for ultimate frisbee or D&D, so there’s probably not a provision to allow them access to Harvard College undergraduate life. Whether Harvard College students would invite you to join in their recreation would likely be up to them.</p>
<p>Don’t make the mistake of thinking that HES is an alternative route to the Harvard undergrad experience - it’s not and it isn’t intended to be.</p>
<p>Some groups allow anyone, including community members and those attending other universities, to join. Students from BU, BC, and NEC turn up in Common Casting productions. Kuumba and Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus allow singers from the community. But this isn’t a reason to go to HES.</p>
