Ok. Here's the thought:

Obtain a study buddy by email on the Internet.

I'm back in school (full-time at the Harvard Extension School) after many years being out of school. I am sikked and very ambitious.

However, staying motivated day in and day out when one has all this free time is always the challenge. The goal is to work at one's full-potential! Not just be adrenalized by an impending deadline.

If I had someone on the internet also in school and everyday we declared what our studying/reading/writing/other goals were for the day and then reported back to each other that night or the next day to follow up, it might help both of us to keep on track.

Example:
Day's goals:
"Today I'm going to read chapter 2 in my psyc textbook, start on my response essay due Thursday and go to the bank, mail those envelopes, etc."

Next day: "So, how did you do? Get all done you wanted to get done?"

It creates an extra motivation to bring your goals out of yourself and show another that you did it or, embarrassingly, you did not.

If used on a daily basis, this could be a potentially useful tool, external motivator, and excellent performance-optimization technique.

I am very ambitious and, while internally motivated, always looking for additional ways to stay on point and rockin'.

If anyone can relate, think it would be a useful maximizing exercise for himself or herself, and if you are studying at undergrad or grad level, ambitious and interested in a daily-check-in-by-email study buddy ... Let me know!
