“Several [Princeton] University students who had previously applied to Harvard University received emails from Harvard Thursday afternoon informing them that their undergraduate application information to Harvard has been summoned by the court in a lawsuit concerning admission practices.” …

LOL probably like majority of the students in the 7 other ivies received these emails…

Discrimination is so bad, believe me. Sad. Harvard is one nasty school. Bigly

It’s not like Harvard never tinkered with admission lists before. Ask Jews or Asians. I’m skeptic there is lot of unholistic practices happen behind the curtain of holistic admissions. Social engineering is dangerous.

Simple solution… 1600 SAT or 36 ACT and 4.0 UW GPA and admitted…otherwise denied.

I can see the backbone of a lawsuit against a public university, but a private?

Am I incorrect in thinking that private institutions can admit whoever they want based on race, gender, ect?

They can’t discriminate between races. It’s same thing as a 500 seat private restaurant deciding that 3 Hispanic customers are just way too many for their joint.

Wait can someone clarify what the lawsuit actually is/ what they are arguing Harvard did wrong?

Just kidding didn’t see the link
