Hello everyone! I have my Harvard interview coming up soon and I’ve been informed its quite different from other college interviews. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
No, Harvard’s interview isn’t any different from Yale’s, Princeton’s or any of the other ivy league schools. Google should be your first resource for this kind of thing. Here I’ll get you started:

It will depend on the interviewer. I know 2 different students who had Harvard interviews. One interview was very relaxed and the other one was very intense with the student being asked why is that on nearly every question. He left feeling like he had been interrogated by the police and he is a very social, smart type of student who is extremely easy to talk to and can talk intelligently on nearly all topics. Both students are still waiting to hear the results.
My advise, be prepared and be yourself.
Remember you are interviewing them too. Have some questions prepared about the interviewer’s own experience.
My daughter just interviewed with Cornell and she got to ask a lot of questions and learn a lot about the program she is applying to. The interviewer was very relaxed and easy to talk to. I think this is probably the norm but it will of course depend on that interviewer.
