Can anyone who already had an interview tell me what it was like? What did you wear, what types of questions they asked, etc.
My interview is in two days and I'm really nervous!

I wore business-casual. He asked a lot about my school because it’s new to the area and he’d never interviewed anyone from there before. He also asked me several times about things I do outside of school… and not just extracurriculars - he wanted to know what I did in my free time/over the summers and what types of things I like. Overall it went really well. I was so nervous but once I was there, the guy was really nice and the interview was very relaxed and conversational. Have a good answer to the “Why Harvard?” question and you’ll be fine. We ended up talking about my senior business project (too hard to describe it but it’s about the medical field). He put me into contact with his wife who is a doctor. Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that whoever is interviewing you is from your area and is rooting for you to do well, get in, and represent your hometown at Harvard. You’ll be fine.

I wore white button down, black pants, black shoes, and a tie. I should’ve worn business-casual

Definitely bring a resume. The first question my interviewer asked was my academics, and good thing I was prepared! He basically asked me what I did in free time/EC’s + the famous question: “Why Harvard?” Make sure you have a few questions you can ask him about Harvard.

My daughter was called unexpectedly to go to the interview straight from a competition she was attending, so she wound up going to the interview in jeans and a t-shirt. The interview lasted 45 minutes. Aside from reviewing her resume and covering the usual items that others mentioned like ECs and why Harvard, this interviewer asked a lot about the family history. My daughter has dual citizenship with a European country, and that seemed to be of great interest to the interviewer.
