Hey I just got an email and have an interview this week I was curious. Does every Harvard applicant get an interview? or is my interview because i'm a "maybe on the edge" applicant? Or are they just going to put me through this for fun? My sister was rejected from harvard ( admitted to stanford) 4 years ago, but she never got an interview?? I was just curious.... Any suggestions? I am extremely nervous.

i think most people who they think might qualify gets an interview, don't be nervous just be ur normal self and do whatever u need to do man, everything is cool. as long as u don't do anything stupid it will only help u not hurt u. i got an interview with princeton too, good luck to both of us ^_^

being granted an interview does not mean anything. you cannot use it as a basis to judge whether you'll get in.
Harvard makes an effort to grant all of its applicants an interview. If there is an alum in your area, you will most likely get an interview. And the fact that your sister didn't get an interview with harvard only indicates that an alum was not living in your area at the time.
good luck...hope to see you this fall!

Wow, living in the remote corner of Iowa sucks! I don't get an interview for any of the 9 schools I applied!
