Harvard Physics?

Hello, I am intending to apply to the Harvard College in the upcoming years. I have decided to do Physics degree very long ago and didn't change my mind yet. However, I am also receiving some suggestions from the people around that I should give some thought to the other majors. Now I come to think that physics is not as important as the other degrees. I know that the electronics or the computer science might be a bit more prestigious than physics and I am interested in these areas too. However not as much as physics. I also agree that it is not fair to judge and compare degrees like that but I am confused so much!

-Why should I choose the other degrees?
-What would you say about the physics degrees in the other Universities? Is it worth to study physics? (US & UK)

I am appreciated for your help!

Take some classes once you get to college to figure out what you like best. You might think you like physics, but the reality of the coursework and the research might not be what you think it is.

From your post, I’m guessing you’re international? If you do want to apply to Harvard, work on your English in the next few years. Places with very strong undergraduate programs in the US include Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Berkeley, MIT, Caltech, Stanford, Columbia, CMU, UPenn… the list goes on. Do some research into it.
