-Certificate of Merit for National French Exam (10/11)
-scored top 10th percentile on NEDT (standardized test)
-nominated for Whos Who (I've read that due to the decline in prestige associated with this award, it's detrimental to include this in a real resume. can i get some more feedback?)

-perfect attendance in elementary, middle, and (so far) high school
-accepted into statewide Governors school for prospective teachers, which i will be attending this summer and receiving college credit for

-Community Service
--small projects with Key Club, but I will be working my ass off this summer (i've dedicated practically the entire month of July) to volunteering...yeah yeah, i know, little late in my high school career to start buckling down on it, but whatever

i plan to major in education, and become a college professor. as far as what subject I'll be teaching, I'm still undecided. maybe law or history or political science.

And, yeah, yeah, I get it everytime, my age could pose problems.
Rank my chances of Harvard acceptance, 1-10, please~~thank you :)

eek. honestly, id give you a 3. you should definitely apply anyway, though. ur academically qualified. im just not sure the ECs would do it. (not enough leadership or distinguished community service)

did you win awards or have officerships you didnt list? how about SAT scores? a jaw-dropping essay might do it for you, but its gonna hafta be downright pulitzer material.

nevertheless good luck. :) you seem smart enough that you will succeed in your ultimate goals wherever you go to college.

Because you are by no means a clear admit, there is no way to determine how likely Harvard is to accept you. Surely you've heard stories of students who are both surprisedly accepted by and rejected by Harvard, without any apparent explanation.

So honestly, applying a number to your chances is utterly ridiculous and impossible, because there are valedictorians with 1600s with national recognition and athletic skill who the Admissions Committee finds incompatible with Harvard, and there are students at the other extreme whom Harvard accepts.

i agree with toasterking. yet people make chances posts anyway.

Does your school typically send its top students to Harvard? Does your guidance department know/like you? If yes, you're in good shape (but by no means guaranteed anything).

Also, Harvard doesn't have an "education" concentration. Take a look at the list of departments, to get a better idea of what might fit your interests: http://www.fas.harvard.edu/home/academics/deptwebsites.html

"o, man, can you imagine a little asian girl attempting to do hip hop haha? but, its funfun"

See if you can do it during the interview...it should either give you many bonus points or make you look like an idiot, but hey, what's life without taking risks, right?
