chances at Yale

-GPA 4.0, average 102 (out of 100, but the advanced courses' bonuses kicked it up)
-class rank 1/500ish, unknown public
-completing high school school in 3 years (graduating/starting college at 16)
-ACT 35 (35E,35R,34M,34S), writing score 12 (perfect score)
will take SAT in October, and prolly some SATIIs, but don't know which ones</p>

--taken the most challenging courseload possible
--Hon Algebra and Hon. Geometry in middle school
--9th: Hon. World History, Adv.Hon.Eng1, Wellness, French1, AdvHon Algebra2, Adv. Hon. Biology
--10th/11th: French2, Adv.Hon Chem, AdvHon English2, AP US history, AdvHon PreCalc, Art1
--12th: AdvHon French3, AP Bio, AP English3, AP English4, AP AB Calc, Art 2
-took APUSH this year, 5 almost definite (fingers crossed :P)</p>

<p>-Japanese school on Saturdays 10 years, fluent in Japanese (first language)
- piano 8 years, private lessons, did the whole recitals at the end of the year bit
- dance for about 8 or 9 years (ballet,lyrical, tap, jazz, pointe, hip hop....o, man, can you imagine a little asian girl attempting to do hip hop haha? but, its funfun). won a couple group dance competitions at Showstopper and whatnot</p>

<p>-Most Outstanding Student Awards in: AdvHon Algebra2 (9th), French1 (9th), French2 (10/11), English2 (10/11)
-Certificate of Merit for National French Exam (10/11)
-scored top 10th percentile on NEDT (standardized test)
-nominated for Whos Who (I've read that due to the decline in prestige associated with this award, it's detrimental to include this in a real resume. can i get some more feedback?)
-nominated for national honor roll
-perfect attendance in elementary, middle, and (so far) high school
-accepted into statewide Governors school for prospective teachers, which i will be attending this summer and receiving college credit for
-very likely will be valedictorian senior year
-National Merit commended, likely semifinalist (220 psat)-will know in Sept</p>

<p>-Extracurriculars in school: Model UN(10/11), French Club (9th & 10/11th), Key Club (member 10/11th, small committees officer 12th), math team (9 & 10/11)
--senior year, i will be in Beta Club, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, & Mu Alpha Theta in addition to the ones I'm currently in, which I will continue as well</p>

<p>-Community Service
--small projects with Key Club, but I will be working my ass off this summer (i've dedicated practically the entire month of July) to volunteering...yeah yeah, i know, little late in my high school career to start buckling down on it, but whatever</p>

<p>just fyi:
i feel very strongly about my writing skills, essays come pretty naturally to me, so they hopefully won't be problems
i plan to major in education, and become a college professor. as far as what subject I'll be teaching, I'm still undecided. maybe law or history or political science
and not that it matters, but i have an uncle who attended yale. my mom's a resident alien, 2 year technical college. my dad attended grad school at various universities.</p>

<p>Although other people can answer this better, from what I know, colleges tend to not like people who graduate early due to possible issues with immaturity or other things.
Is there any particular reason why you are graduating early?</p>
