Any chances to any of the schools on my list, do you think? :X

anyone...?

Yale and Princeton will be hard for you. You have a shot at the others with varying degrees of probabilty, if you can raise you SAT I verbal score. Retake it.

Your stats are excellent with the exception of your SATI verbal score. That will bring you down a lot, but otherwise, your chances are just as good as the majority of the applicants.

i got a 580 the first time i took it and got a 550 the second time... so now im afraid to take it again, because like w/ my math, i have nowhere to go but down... and i dont wanna show them that i went down in both math and verbal the third time i took it... i was kinda hoping that my toefl score and my background will kind of cancel out w/ my verbal score but i dont know =/

These schools want to know that you can read and understand complex ideas in English, given the rate at which you will be bombarded with course work. Toefl will help. SAT I is about nuanced ideas. Try and locate students at these schools who work with the admissions office and have them do some discreet querying for you.

hm, just wondering.. what makes Yale and Princeton different from other schools that I've listed?

Admission demand at these schools is extremely high.

but the same goes for harvard and stanford... doesnt it?

Very true. But they are all quirky. Something in your particulars may open the door at one one of these top schools (as in deferred, rather than rejected, at Harvard) but avail you nothing at the others. Objectively speaking, your verbal score is normally a door-closer at HYP.

US HOTA? lol

oh hahhahaha, that's supposed to be just history of the americas, not US history of the americas, lol
