Harvard/Princeton/Yale?

I am a current junior and I aspire to go to HPY etc. I thought I was on track, but after reading some of the posts on here, I worry.

GPA: UW-3.96, W- 4.14

I took AP Euro last year (1 of only 2 APs offered for sophomores) and got a 5. I also took 4 honors classes. This year I am taking 4 APs, 1 honors and next year I'll be taking 5 APs.

Last year I had only one extracurricular as I had a chronic illness and almost had to drop out for a semester (that's what the admins wanted). I am now in Key Club, NHS, DECA (have already won first in a competition), and FCCLA. I am a nationally recognized harpist (2nd and 4th place in two national competitions) and have also played on the JV tennis team all three years of high school.

I have done quite a lot of community service (approx. 300 hours, should be at least 500 by the end of high school).

I have not taken ACT/SAT or even the PSAT yet (I don't qualify for National Merit Scholarship and was sick the day of the test so it didn't seem worth it). However, I am currently working through a prep book for each and plan to take them the end of this year/ beginning of next.

I am also Canadian and I am not sure how that factors into my chances.

Oh and thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and respond!

It’s hard to know exactly where you stand without any idea of your test scores, but everything else seems in line, maybe a few more ECs (pretty much standard advice for anyone), but your harpist thing is really cool. Are you planning to major in that? Also, do you have any sort of standardized testing, even practice tests?

(My last post was a joke)
(This is just my thoughts, because I am just a kid, and lack experience with admissions)
You have a good GPA, and it seems like you are taking the most challenging courses offered at you HS. Your chronic illness will be noted, and your willingness to stay in school will show perseverance. That is great that you are involved in your school, and your awards will show it. Personally, I think sports (JV Tennis in your case) is a nice touch. 500 volunteer hours show that you are active in your community, but do your best to do things that require brains, and not just your average Joe’s body. Also, being a nationally recognized harpist will bring something special to the university. Will you get it? As I am sure that you have heard, “Admissions to top colleges are a reach for everyone.”
Your SAT scores will also be an important factor. Just keep doing great, and it will pay off, even if you don’t get into HYP.

I got a 33 on a practice ACT test, haven’t done any practice SAT tests. Also, I forgot to mention Mock Trial as an EC.
EvanMWard, I thought it seemed weird…

Oh and I am thinking of a double major, music and psychology.
