Same type of scenario with my daughter three years ago but this year I’ve heard a lot of interviewers matching the area of interest at Harvard and Princeton. Probably just coincidence but it would actually make sense for them to try to do it.
Welp, my interview was so awkward for me. The guy was this stone-faced asian person in finance, who fixated on these extremely tiny details (i.e. whether I like to wear sweaters or jackets outside) or surprised me with ridiculous questions (he asked if i or my friends had ever done drugs). There was only like 1 moment when he laughed. Thank goodness my on campus interview was fantastic!
Okay people I had an on campus interview with my regional admissions rep. Did most of you have an alumni interview and an on campus interview? Or just one?
Question - I submitted my Harvard app at 11:50 Mountain time, which is 1:50 Eastern. I could have sworn that I submitted it under SCEA, but when I got my admit portal it said that I submitted RD! So I called Harvard, and they said that I should email them about the problem. So I emailed them, and they said I should call, so I called again, and was told to send another email, so I sent another email and now I am seriously freaking out!
Both Common App and the Harvard website say that I should be able to change, but I’m worried that I’ll be stuck on an endless loop any advice?

@Falcon1, I really don’t know if that is a new practice. Perhaps there is some effort toward that, but I would imagine that it would be more difficult outside of relatively dense East Coast locales, and other places that are very dense.
@Harvard2020s Unless my information is wrong, I think the Class of 2017 and 2019 each got their results on a Thursday night while the Class of 2018 got theirs on a Friday night. So it very well may be Thursday, December 10!
For those of you living in the countries with limited interview opportunities, have you received any email about the interviews or have you done an interview? If I live in a country with limited interview opportunities and haven’t received an email about my interview, does it mean that I’m most likely rejected?
