hey Flacagirl101, im taking intro to Philosophy too :) ive heard mixed reviews about it from other people but im still really excited.

does anyone know about that reading and writting course that they offer. something about SAT stuff and whatever? is it worth it if i cant make it to all the lessons and such?
oh and another thing. sorry for all these questions...
i want to do some painting but i dont want my roommates to deal with the smell. are there open studios and such?
again, i hope this isn't too many questions ...

I signed up for Neurobiology and heard that it is a tough course considering there are only two tests and most of it is independent study. I am a rising junior and I want to make sure I am taking the right courses at Harvard. Has anybody taken Microeconomics? How is the course?

I was also thinking of principles of genetics. Do you need the Introductory Biology course to take it? Any advice?

I'm taking American Foriegn Policy and Introduction to Political Philosophy. Is anyone else signed up for these?

Also, my classes both fall on the same days (Mon. and Wen.) Did any previous SSPers have trouble with classes on the same day? It doesn't seem like a big problem but I was just wondering if it would be too much to handle during exams. I also like the idea of having "free days."

hey im taking AFP... i choose it speciffcally so i wouldnt be booked on two days(im also taking intro to philosophy) i know id end up getting way stressed and such but hey, its your thing so whatever you feel is best. just dont be as much of a bum as i usually am.

Hey burberrybrit,
I'm taking intro to comparitive politics and AFP. They also fall on the same days, Monday and Wednesday. Hopefully we wont die.

I've heard it's actually better that way because you have lot more free time to do whatever.

hi everyone
i'm a rising junior and was wondering if anyone could tell me how the intro to international relations and micro economics are. also, how is the hollis hall?

"Political Philosophy is the most boring class ever."

Bollocks. The year I went there (2004), Political Philosophy was awesome. I don't know if the same person teaches it every year, but if they do, Professor Schmidt is GOD. He actually managed to define positive liberty theory according to Krispy Kreme doughnuts. For my money, that's not "boring" at all!

Anyone taking the Psych Summer Seminar - Behaviorism and Behavior Modification? OR Freuds Cases? I just turned in my app 2 days ago (i know, its late) so I'm not sure if i'll be going, but it seems to me that not many ppl want to take psych or the psych classes that have a pre-req. Anyone?

im not taking an art class but want to use a studio, if possible. if there is a painting studio ill smile, but if there is a print studio i might break out in song. youve been warned

Hi my name is Sung Jae, Joo. I am korean but I live in Portugal... Complicated :S I was accepted to the SSP program about 2 weeks ago. Here is a bit of info about me:

Name: Sung Jae, Joo
Nationality: Korean, South
Age/gender: 16(turning 17 on July 4th!)/Male
Hair colour/Height: Black/181cm

By the way, is anyone here taking Principals of Economics (8weeks)?? And I will be staying in Canaday Hall, Room C34.

I would consider taking the micro and macro 4 unit options seperately over the 8 unit course. It covers the same things but it means you get the friday off which is useful for trips outside of cambridge. It just means half an hour more class monday through thursday. That's what I'm going to do.
