If I get into Harvard or Stanford, I might die haha. You guys do see what I said my grades are, right? Do you really think that my ECs can make up for them?

Ahhh… I need to go to bed so I can wake up in 2 hours to work on my college apps, study for my test tomorrow, and do 3 800 word essays XD.

I predict that you get into all three with those EC’s, the Ivy’s love hooks, and you have plenty of them. I’ve heard of plenty of kids getting into Stanford because they had a passion and they executed a plan for said passion. You’ve done that plenty of times. You will be fine.

Your freshman year grades will be thrown out. Because your school does not do class rank, your freshman year has no impact.

Upward trend. Your junior year was solid and your mid-year report is going to be phenomenal.

The universities that you are applying to have a holistic admission review process. I figure that you roughly made four B (grades less than 90%) between your sophomore and junior year. That is not terrible. I was CEO of a company my freshman and sophomore year of hs; however, my gpa was sub-3.0. I missed a lot of days of class and would end up not doing papers or projects. It take good time management skills and giving up a lot of sleep to manage it all. I’m certain that the adcoms will understand.

You fuel your passion with your ambition.

Im on my phone right now, but I can PM you what I based my ‘chance’ on later today.

You’ll definitely get into Penn…M&T is a tough call though. I’m going to say you’d make it in but I can’t be sure. I think that you’ll get into Harvard and Stanford too - your business experience is craaazy awesome. Good luck and I hope you get good news!

Although you have AMAZING EC’s, your grades are still a significant problem. Keep in mind that hundreds of people apply to HYPSM with incredible EC’s and perfect academics (4.0 GPA, 2300+ SAT, etc.).

Thus, Harvard and Stanford will still be reaches for you. Wharton however is a different story. Business schools, and Wharton in particular, care about leadership more than anything else. They want business leaders who can bring value, prestige, and (hopefully) new endowments to their business program. I think you have a good shot at Wharton. M&T is insanely competitive however, so it still seems like a reach for you. I’m probably not being generous enough thoug :P

In reply to your comment about you getting some B’s-

I doubt they’lll care- you still have a great GPA, great test scores, and really good ECs! I’d say you have the worst shot at Stanford, but even there you have a great change (don’t know percentage, I’d say well above 30-40% but I have no idea). I really think you’d get into at LEAST one of those schools.

Remember- people with 2300+ and 4.0 GPAs get rejected all the time, so I think your test scores are fine for these schools :)

Great shot at Wharton… They’d be lucky to have you. U seem to be the type of applicant every school wants. You fit the profile of a Stanford and Wharton student really well. I’d say 90% chance for Wharton (match) and 60% for Stanford.
Ur ECs make up for grades. Harvard is unpredictable but I think the other two are very near.

And where did you apply early? I think this can make all the difference… wharton ed pretty much guarantees you a spot… Stanford rea might also be rilly good… Harvard rea not so much. Since ur an entrepreneur, I’d say best chances at Stanford and upenn. Hands down.
