Harvard Transfer Fall 2022

Whelp, after a brutal admissions season, thought it might be nice to start this thread.

Some basics:

  • Harvard only accepts 12-16 transfer students per year
  • Out of a typical applicant pool of 1500+ (assuming this will continuously go up over the years)
  • Acceptance rate of <0.8%
  • Many spots reserved for military members, who are highly encouraged to apply
  • Commonly thought that 1/3 of spots for athletes
  • Others are most likely community college transfers rather than lateral transfers (ex. other Ivies or highly ranked schools)

Personally hoping to transfer from Cornell, which I already know chances are low for. Any others in the same boat?

Why do you want to transfer?
