Whelp, after a brutal admissions season, thought it might be nice to start this thread.
Some basics:
- Harvard only accepts 12-16 transfer students per year
- Out of a typical applicant pool of 1500+ (assuming this will continuously go up over the years)
- Acceptance rate of <0.8%
- Many spots reserved for military members, who are highly encouraged to apply
- Commonly thought that 1/3 of spots for athletes
- Others are most likely community college transfers rather than lateral transfers (ex. other Ivies or highly ranked schools)
Personally hoping to transfer from Cornell, which I already know chances are low for. Any others in the same boat?
