@Panian so am I!
is anyone else going crazy counting down these last 10 days??
@lolclassof2022 lol the 10 days till most of us receive their rejections, yeah can’t wait
I’m just curious, why did everyone choose to apply to Harvard? Or what things about Harvard excite you the most?
The Department of Stem Cell and Reproductive Biology (HSCRB) was my reason, hands down. The programs are just insane.
Besides the fact that it is Harvard, I love the Boston area and the HSCRB. Having Mass General as a nearby resource is awesome as well. The diversity is also very appealing as I grew up on a small farm in Iowa.
@Tony2055 did u see the cell, molecular, and developmental Biology program? It’s fricking amazing. And the research opportunities, damn. Gotta tell ya, if i get into Harvard, I’m gonna cure cancer from first year.
yikes I am scared to holy heck frickity frack not even just for Harvard but like for all my college decisions since they all come out in 1-2 weeks X_X anyone have good relaxation tips
@QueerandHere go watch the new movie annihilation, it’ll keep your mind busy for a few days.
@QueerandHere honestly the benefits of physical activity are not discussed enough on this site. Getting active makes your brain release the happy chemicals, and for that reason, I recommend you go on a run/bike ride/kayak trip/whatever floats your boat
Do y’all think i should send in an update now or is it too late? My newspaper staff just found out we won a Gold Crown from the CSPA (only 14 newspapers get it internationally). Is it worth it to send…since it’s not an individual award?
@Ali059 personally I think it’s a bit late but you can if it will give you peace of mind.
@Ali059 If you do decide to send it in, don’t forget to send a mail to your regional counsellor so they can acknowledge it as quickly as possible. (I did that for Penn and they replied to it).
Although it may honestly be too late but it’s worth a try ( 'cause you never know)
Harvard doesn’t release admissions officer information.
Actually, they do if you are accepted.
@skieurope where do i get that info then?
@MaybeHarvard2022 It is part of some accepted student correspondence
@ski_racer I went to the gym and I feel much more relaxed now!!! Thank you <3
It’s both comforting and frightening to know that our decisions have essentially been locked in by now
