@MaybeHarvard2022 Lol just wait it out, just a few more days to go.
Yes, so long as you have a physical mail address on your CommonApp/Collegeboard. For internationals it takes quite a long time to get the letter though - I was waiting at least a couple weeks.
And yes, even for domestic students, the physical envelope won’t get to you until after 5pm on the 12th - the quickest way to get your decision is still via the website. Also, at least in my year, decisions were released a few minutes before 5pm.
You would assume correctly.
Unless things have changed, they get a hard copy, but don’t get the swag because of import duties.
@skieurope I think things have changed since your day, I got a t-shirt plus stickers, leaflets etc. in the envelope/package. Am I missing anything else that should be in it? All of the Big 3 mail out swag now to internationals - I got the t-shirt and flag from Yale, and the t-shirt from Princeton.

Interesting article… Gets me thinking about what AO’s really value.
Hi
I am from North Carolina. I just received an email from Harvard admission office two days ago asking for my research. What does that mean?
@timetowait They say on their portal that if there is anything missing from your app, they will contact you asking for you to send it in. Did you state that you had research but submitted nothing to supplement it?
What time of day will results be on Tuesday? I am so nervous…
@timetowait Harvard sometimes contacts people for more info about something in your application (I know a student who got contacted for more info on their Siemens research, one of the bigger achievements on their app).
We can only speculate. I would hazard a guess that perhaps they were going through your application during the full committee meetings and they wanted to take a look at your research before coming to a decision. All you can really say is that, until 2 days ago at least, you were still in consideration.
@studentathlete18 5pm, or perhaps a couple minutes before (it was a few minutes early my year).
I assume 5PM eastern? Well, that means my entire school day will be wrought with anxiety and I will get exactly 0 done! Haha!
@Telluric
@Telluric, my recollection from two years ago is that students get a link to the Coop and can request a t-shirt that comes later (it does come quickly). It doesn’t come in the envelope. And you can choose the size. I don’t remember stickers, but maybe they switched things last year.
@EastGrad Apologies you’re correct - I forgot about having to do the Coop thing. I definitely got a “Harvard” sticker in the envelope though, it’s on my laptop currently.
@MaybeHarvard2022 Someone was posting very odd things that have since been removed. I responded, but got rid of it once I saw the other posts were gone, because it no longer made sense.
Did anyone from limited interview countries receive one with admission officer?
Yep. I’m from Japan and I had my interview in early November
@meringue What kind of questions were you asked? Did you have anything on your application that needed further explanation? (For instance, some background/culture/context/ECA that they needed to know more about). And was your interview with alumni or with admission officer?
So this person who was in charge of arranging interviews emailed me a set of questions. He asked me to fill it out prior to the interview and send it back to him and the interviewer, so that they both knew what kind of a person I was. The questions my interviewer asked were mildly challenging, such as “How do you deal with people who have different opinions than you?” “If you were to do over high school again, what would you change?” I was interviewed by an alumni.
I wrote a paragraph for some question about my personal research project on refugees, but was never asked to submit supplemental information
on it. Is that inherently bad and indicative of ultimate rejection?
@Noahdutch Which place are you from?
Could well be. Thanks for providing more recent info.
