Harvard University Class of 2023 SCEA Applicants

@bruhinterviewme “Most impressively, I am also not Asian” I WISH omg my asian ass is tearing up while reading this lmaoo

@bruhinterviewme To be honest, I don’t even think an interview will make a difference in your case because you have such an amazing profile!! If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your small business?

@trackscience19 If you could elaborate, I may be able to shed some light on your question. What did you do, exactly?

@bruhinterviewme Sorry if I’m prying, but what kind of school do you go to / what area of the U.S. do you live in?

@lilyfullford not sure just rely on your portal.

@nrsebayer @lilyfullford They send out emails to all applicants regardless of the actual decision (Accepted, Deferred, Denied)

@“rêveuse” My small business is an SAT tutoring company for elite test takers. It’s not that original but holy smokes the name I chose kicks butt and we get as much business as we want. And @oRcHiD4 I live in a suburban area an hour away from a small-ish major city (not that the city affects us at all–we kinda do our own thing).

@nijusohc haha

Do you guys know if the lawsuit against Harvard is also claiming “discriminatory practices” for Asian international students? Or just Asian-Americans?

@bruhinterviewme what are your international awards? also, what do you want to major in?

@shehar17 It would instantly give me away. It’s super cool though. Sorry! :confused:

Oh, and I hope to concentrate in philosophy and/or physics.

do we think that tomorrow is the day they will announce when the decision day will be? They are supposed to have a livestream at 6:00 I think

@bruhinterviewme My guess is that they don’t want to interview you because every alumni interviewer probably knows your parents :slight_smile: Are you from the Harker School in San Jose?

so is not having the first quarter grades requested a bad sign?

@logosoverpathosm I don’t think that’s the case. I think Harvard only needs midterm grades, which means the middle of the academic year. That’s the end of 1st semester or the end of 2nd quarter. I doubt Harvard remembers who is in semester system and who is in quarters.

@Dataminer I’m talking about early action… midterm grades have not been released yet, no?

@bruhinterviewme r u a legacy dude?

@db8addicIdk about the impact of interviews on defer/accept/reject rea but for some reason I had two interviews (im international student) and I had one with someone on the admission council at Harvard and one alumnae one.

@logosoverpathosm Right, nothing to report as midterm grades haven’t come out yet.

Ahh havent been on here for quite some time, wanted to see the craziness happening on this thread. Good luck to yall, for those who will be accepted in about a week the wait/anxiety will be worth it. For those who are not, dont lose hope but also be realistic and start considering other great schools!

have any of you started your regular decision school essays?
