is it normal that they have yet to release an actual decision notification date
@moscott Best of luck to your son! I’m in Naples, aka Retirementville, so I’m not too sure about my opportunities here. :)) I’m hopeful that something’ll turn up though.
@curioussgeorgee yep! someone said last year they released the decision day on the 8th or 9th(Friday or Saturday)

@lilyfullford he said BY Monday. He’s on full adcom so for sure by Monday I would think we will hear something re date
makes me think they want to release on tuesday…historical trends, plz dont prove me wrong
Unless they pull a Stanford I’m guessing we will wait until Thursday for decisions

It feels so long compared to the months though! I’m honestly shocked how fast the year has gone; I think it’s because I’ve been so busy I couldn’t let it get to me, but now that things are dying down for the holidays my panic is setting in :,)

@oRcHiD4 Sorry I meant being in Fl and having the academics to apply to Harvard you would have a lot of good options such as UF, UM at in state tuition if any at all. Did you make NMSF?
God I’m so stressed about this! All of my friends know to be careful about asking me next week because I’m preparing for the worst 
I have one teacher though who is dead set on me going and idk how to break it to him oof
For perspective my sons best friend is over and waiting to hear from Michigan. Which is an amazing school. But prob a shoo in for most of you. I can’t say it enough making it to this point and waiting to hear from Harvard is a huge accomplishment for everyone regardless of what happens next week!!

tbh the most agonizing time is when they say they’ll release at 7pm but you don’t get an email at 7pm LOL that suspense and wait of not knowing when the email will come is going to kill me haha

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say my friend said she heard from an admissions officer at an event that decisions will be released on 12/13 7pm EST. This is not official so we still have to wait to hear it from Harvard but you can take it if you want
