<p>This is in the broadest possible terms. Which is more desirable, which will (overall) place you better, which educates you better, which is more enjoyable, which carries more generic prestige in the business world?</p>
<p>Having to choose between these schools wouldn't be the worst problem to have, I'm curious which way people would go.</p>
<p>Personally, I’d pick Harvard. But again, it could be because of my personal disdain for the state of California.</p>

<p>No school in the whole universe is as well-known and /or respected as Harvard. </p>
<p>Stanford is great. But Harvard is Harvard.</p>
<p>If you’re at a place where you can choose, then there is no real wrong choice. Both are known as the best business schools in the world. Harvard may carry more global prestige, but both will offer you similar (and high) chances of success post b-school.</p>
<p>Harvard = prestige.</p>
<p>I would pick Stanford though.</p>
