Would it be significantly difficult for someone who attended the University of Cambridge to get accepted to a prestigious American Medical School such as Harvard or Yale? Also, the student is an American citizen and attended K-12 in the States. Would they get categorized as an international student, as well? Thanks.

I don’t believe it is difficult to get admitted to Harvard or Yale from Cambridge if you are one of the top students from there but it would be difficult to apply to most other schools in US which require an American degree in order to apply to medical schools.

Actually having a degree from outside the US will disadvantage you for admission to Harvard Med. Here’s what HMS" website says:

Yale will accept UK degrees. UVA and georgetown will also consider UK degrees on a case-by-case basis.

Is there a listing somewhere for Harvard of which undergrad programs their entering class was accepted from?
Or for any/ all the med schools? I think that would be interesting to look at.
Some schools post an incoming class profile which may or may not list the undergrads where matriculants are from.
Try searching “incoming class profile year 20XX” on various med school admission websites.
You can also try to find their commencement programs. Normally graduates have their UG Noted in the listing.
Is this person someone thinking of going to Cambridge or someone who is already attending or who has already graduated? What subject(s) if already attending/graduated?
