Major Awards: 1st and 2nd places in six different subject Olympiads which all have International Level .(Physics, Russian Language, English, Geography, World History and Sociology ). But I lost my diplomas but send the list taken from their website(will they consider them or not?).

My Essay was very solid. Wrote about how I came from the small village with a population of 500 people and finally could win the International Olympiads and the Golden Honor in President's Intellectual School and thus met with the President of Kazakhstan. Also I mentioned the poverty which was inspiration for me and the mockeries I had in school.
Recommendation of Teacher 1: The best student in career (I saw his recommendation) He also wrote that I am one of the best students in Kazakhstan.

Also I am in gap year, born in 1996 also I was the single student who could jump over in NIS(Nazarabayev Intellectual School) school the 10th grade and after the 9th I attended to 11th.</p>
<p>Wow, your achievements are impressive. With all that you accomplished I 100% believe that you will get into any of the schools you listed above. Also, I have heard the Harvard, Princeton, and Yale have good financial aid packages.</p>
<p>Test scores are low, but keep in mind these schools use a holistic approach. Being an International with Financial Aid is going to hurt you, but your achievements seem good. It is really hard to say. You certainly have chances at any of the schools you mentioned, but it is kind of a crapshoot.</p>
<p>As others have noted, your test scores might be a real sinker. However, if your application is as well-presented as possible and the admissions committee sees everything you’ve posted here, you have decent odds. International odds are very hard to predict. Hopefully an adcom believes in you and finds a spot for you.</p>
<p>Your SAT scores are a small blip on an otherwise outstanding profile. But the fact that you’re an international with financial aid makes this hard to predict. I’d say you’ll get into Duke. Best of luck :)</p>
<p>I think that your test scores are the worst part of your app, but everything else is so amazing + you’re an international, I think everything is between Match - High match.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, the chances for international students at Harvard and Yale are around 2-3%, so your chances are already slim, your low SAT score notwithstanding. However, your essay sounds phenomenal, and if it’s well-written, I would be quite surprised if you weren’t accepted to at least one of your top schools. Really try to bring that SAT score up to at least a 2100!</p>
<p>A combined 1220/1600 on CR + W is too low for an international, let alone a US applicant. Not to mention you haven’t taken the TOEFL, which would help you if you received a high score. </p>
<p>Harvard says:
“A strong knowledge of English is essential for successful study at Harvard, including the ability to understand and express thoughts quickly and clearly. Although you are not required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or other proficiency exams, you may submit your scores if you have done so.”</p>
<p>Yale says:
“Students at Yale must be able to express themselves fluently in spoken and written American English. If you are not a native English speaker and you haven’t received at least two years of secondary education in an English-medium curriculum, Yale strongly recommends that you take any one of the following tests for non-native English speakers.” … goes on to list the TOEFL</p>
<p>Assuming English is not the language of instruction at your school, you can already cross off Princeton (from your post history I see you’ve already applied):
“If English is not your native language, and you are attending a school where English is not the language of instruction, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) in addition to the SAT or ACT plus writing, as well as SAT Subject Tests.”</p>
<p>Duke says:
“We recommend but do not require the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) for non-native English speakers who feel their TOEFL or IELTS scores might represent their English ability better than their SAT or ACT scores do.”</p>
<p>As you can see, English proficiency is not to be taken lightly at these highly selective institutions.</p>
<p>I am unsure since you are an international applicant. Everything is very impressive. Outstanding. The only thing is the SAT is very low and you havent taken the TOEFL. Raise the SAT and you can have a good chance at any of these schools </p>
<p>SAT is low. Though its a tough exam for int’l applicants, I’d say you still want it in 2000-2100 as a minimum. But your record is great, very very great. I don’t know how schools view international applicants wanting financial aid. I heard its tough. But you have a good shot. Great job, thanks for chancing me.</p>
<p>Your SATs are very low for the schools you’ve mentioned, but your extracurriculars and everything else are phenomenal. Even if you don’t end up going to Harvard, Princeton or Yale, I’m sure you will accomplish great things! Best of luck.</p>
