do any of you know personally any one who has got in without any interview.

I do not know the answer, but I’m very curious as well; I am an international and I have not yet been contacted for an interview.

I would like to know this as well. We would really appreciate it if someone could give us more information concerning this.

I am going to guess that several (possibly the majority) of internationals don’t get an interview but do still get in. I believe it is less likely for internationals to get in an interview. Don’t worry about not getting an interview…on Harvard’s website, it says that not having an interview won’t put anyone at a disadvantage.

According to the admissions office website, internationals aren’t required to go through an interview, but they should try to arrange one if they live in certain countries.

You can find the list on the admissions office website.

Yeah, I saw that, too; my country is listed as ‘limited number of interviewers available’; it says I’ll get contacted when they require more information, but I have not been contacted. What does ‘more information’ mean? That only those who stand a chance get one?

this very question has been discussed here before. Nothing conclusive was stated.

catiee more information means, that they either want you or they don’t need more information, because you’re app was very detailed. If you read the whole page, they+re always stressing, that not going through an interview is not a problem (for foreign students).

Pheww… Thank you, Guyfromportugal!

you’re welcome!
