Has anyone...(About the essay portion)

Has anyone gotten a 11 or a 12 on their essay by using only one example in the essay? I just want to know if it is possible.

it isnt i assure you

(unless you have one example and divide it into 3 categories)

What about with two examples?

yes this is possible, i believe there are one or two examples in the Blue book with 2 examples, but they are lengthy and well written

Do you think that writing two example with the same type of example would work? (history with history or literature with literature)

no..bad idea...

If you use two examples of the same category, you'll probably need to make your point better (as in with more detail and clarity than two different categories of examples).

I got an 11 with two examples. One was literary (but I thought it was very unique and relevant) and the other was a personal example.

You can get a twelve with one example just as easily as you can get one with three. Just use an example/examples that you know well, or can make it seem so, that logically support your postion, and write clearly.
