D submitted the college application for summer 2009 and the gatorlink account is now working. However, when we go into the housing application, it says they aren't taking applications for term 096. I can only think that means June of 2009.

At this point in time all you should do is pay the $20 (is that still the price?) for a priority date. Housing will send you information on that once admissions tells housing you are applying to UF. Once she gets accepted, then you will get information about picking dorms (or what housing likes to call "residence halls").

If you had already paid the $20 housing fee, then you will have to wait until she gets admitted to the University as ASMAJ said. All you can do is wait until decision time in 2009...Hey that rhymes.

At UF, you apply for housing right after applying to the college. Within 2 weeks of paying your application fee you should hear from UF inviting you to apply for housing. We got the gatorlink and status shows app fee paid so it should be a matter of days before we can apply for housing. The portal isn't quite working yet though. That's why I was asking if anyone had successfully applied for housing.
