has anyone been accepted who DIDN’T have the tab? the admissions officer said the tab should have nothing to do with your decision, but it seems like everyone who got accepted had the tab and those who were rejected didnt…

What’s the tab?

idk what the tab is but im pretty sure i dont have it
i got in today…live in massachusetts

look on your agora and next to your “financial aid status” tab there should be a tab that says, “Financial Aid Award Notification.”

davematthews, it would TRULY make my LIFE if you didn’t have the tab. hahahaha, we’re all dying here.

seriously, please please please someone get in without the tab. I’m on the verge of insanity because this (my second choice) and my first choice school are hinting that I got rejected, and I can’t handle this much rejection. =(

Late post…
Thank you StevenWheatland!
No letter today, but maybe tomorrow…hopefully.

Until someone comes in here and explicitly says that they know what the tab is, DO NOT have it, and got accepted, I will continue to speculate.

hey, if it means anything, i was accepted EA and i DID NOT have the tab

the same thing happened back in december…some people had it, and i thought that meant i wasn’t going to get in…but i was wrong

you CAN BE ACCEPTED and NOT have the tab! so dont worry!

I don’t have the tab either. I live in Ohio, so I will probably hear tomorrow or Friday. I am freaking out, because I would love to go to BC, and I thought I would get in with my scores, etc.

jersey, you are sure some people did not have this specific tab? And some did?

eileen, your stays give me some hope. Your act is above the 75th percentile.

I got in EA and I did not get the tab until after I got my letter.

did other people have it?

I think EA may be different since they don’t calculate Fin aid right away (?)

Yea, I don’t know because I have a really competitive class and my class rank is not the most amazing thing ever. Albeit it is not bad, but I know that it could be interpreted as though I am smart but have no work ethic, which is not the case at all. I feel like going to an extremely competitive school is going to screw me over in the end per say.

eileenballerina: don’t worry about it…maybe bc has grades inflation for your school

i know this sounds stupid, but what does “grades inflation for your school” mean exactly?

I just guess…Give some schools more weight

no tab for me, i live in southern CT so that means i’ll be hearing REALLY soon…AHHH!
