My decision is still pending for sd but I was wondering if anyone has heard of rejections from SD yet??

of course there has been.

You've probably haven't seen many or any on this forum because we all have pretty darn good stats. Plus I wouldn't post up my rejection for UCSD if I did.

Would be too emo spending two years in CC settling for less.

I heard they accepted all transfers this year.

I heard they accepted people that didn't even apply..

My 11 year old sister got an acceptance letter in the mail yesterday!

^^^

That's pretty cool, has she decided if she's going to go or not?

Naw.. She says she's "keeping her options open". She doesn't wanna do anything crazy. Not just yet.

I think those punchlines are more fit for UCR or UCSC.

UCSD engineering is mad respected

lol of course... I have nothing but love for SD.

LOL....we're just playin. UCSD is a good school. I just thought asking whether anyone has been rejected from UCSD was kind of a silly question.

It's not that silly... I've asked a lot of transfers... some with low gpas and i haven't heard of any rejections yet. So maybe they haven't sent those out yet. relax fijee

I am relaxed Berkz. Around this time in the morning I start getting a little silly with my posts.

"Plus I wouldn't post up my rejection for UCSD if I did."

Wuss, I posted my Riverside rejection. RIVERSIDE!

edit: I am FAR from an under qualified applicant.

my transfer counselor told me that anyone with at minimum has a 3.0 and have done some classes towards their major will be accepted. UCSD doesn't even read your personal statements.

I've heard only UCLA and UCB read your personal statement.

Last year, UCSD accepted 73.3% of all who applied. The only ones with a higher acceptance rate were Riverside and Merced. http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/Flowtrc_8907.pdf

Hmm what about students who transfer from other UC schools to UCSD. Does anyone know the transfer rate for that? I hear its much more difficult to transfer from UC to UC.
