Has anyone done the accounting minor at UCLA?

I'm thinking about doing the accounting minor at UCLA but my major is psychology. Do you guys know if I would exceed the unit cap, being that psychology and accounting are completely different? I'm in need of some serious advice. :/

You shouldn’t go over the cap with the minor. You will have to complete pre-requisites for the minor (there are many), and maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA (overall and for pre-reqs). You will then have to apply for it and admission is not guaranteed. Though, I’ve hear if you meet all of the requirements, they generally let you in. Understand though that Accounting is a specific subject and not everyone may find it interesting or they mind find it to be difficult. I plan to declare the minor as well and have already done some the classes for it at the CC.
