<p>What kind of school is it? How is it in terms of rankings and stuff? Admit %?</p>
<p>A friend of mine just got in, and I think he might've turned down a few Ivy's for this place...</p>
<p>It's pretty good, tho not by far as good as Ivies. The problem is that it's young (established in like 98? or something) so it's not as prestigious. Also because of that it doesn't appear in many rankings.
Anyway, most students from my country go to Bremen if they get rejected from the top 20 schools in the US. And it's pretty easy to get in (tho I got rejected ^^)</p>
<p>Also, you should check out the international forum, there is a thread about it, and a lot more people there heard of it.</p>
<p>Also it underwent a name change (now called Jacobs University Bremen, I think). According to wikipedia, it was "founded in 1999 by the collaboration of the government of the city-state of Bremen, the University of Bremen and Rice University of Houston, Texas."</p>

<p>Well i would say its better than most when you see it from the outsiders perspective and when you see back after you graduate . While you are here it all depends on how you do things , see things, work out things. For me its been a wonderful journey so far doing things i have never done before and going beyond traditional preset limitations..</p>
