Has anyone ever opened up their old AP guide books

and looked at the practice tests? I did so today and I seriously forgot everything I learned (AP American History). I guess that's what happens when you don't do anything related to American History for a two years.

So I am not the only person to do this... :)

I looked at my World History AP review book and remembered nothing (I took it 2 years ago). I also looked at my Chemistry textbook, and I was amazed at how much I knew three month ago and how much I forgot.

If I take the exams I took in May now, I would probably fail every single one of them.

I'm not even going to touch them, unless someone's willing to buy.

i got bored one day and just flipped through the tests and had a blank stare on my face. i really dont wanna relive through those tortuous moments again -_-

Yeah, it's ridiculous how much AP testing (and academia in general ;)) is based upon short-term memory.

I haven't touched them since the AP exams but I guess if I'd ever need to get a refresher on something I have them there.

i sold mine for half price :]

hmm...well, i always forget "how" to take a test, for example, i am not half as good as i used to be at CR multiple choice (after my 800! hah)...i do remember isolated facts from history & a TON of chemistry actually.

i've had to self-teach myself b/c of terrible teachers so i think it's stuck more.
