I just have a question about changing majors. On my application, I said my major would be psychology, but now I want to change it to biology. Is that a far cry? Is it very difficult to change your major from what you noted on your application? Also, will this confuse the process of them sending me forms to sign-up for classes, etc.?

if you are talking about staying in Arts and Sciences, it make ZERO difference... you don't offically declare your major until end of sophomore year...

it will affect who you get as an advisor, so you may want to let the university know about changed preference, but it this is not a big deal... you can also switch advisors...

Thanks so much. Should I call them now?

Call the "Advising" number here and ask them what you should do:
