has anyone gotten accepted that DID NOT send in a hs transcript/SAT?

i noticed on some of the "results threads" that those who got in as transfer students (even as sophomores) didn't turn in their high school record/SAT score.

has this happened to you?
do you advise it?

That’s false. Everyone is required to hand in their high school transcript or any other transcripts of schools they have previously attended. You probably read it wrong. Numerous schools, after applicants have accumulated a certain unit count (usually 30+), do not have their HS grades/ SAT scores taken into account for transfer admisison. They still have to hand them in. It just means they won’t weigh as heavily into the admission decision.

I would advise against it. Schools use clearinghouses to see what schools you have attended. There is no way around that. Even if you somehow bypass that and do not send in transcripts, once a schools finds out your admission will be rejected or even worse, your degree will be revoked. It is not worth it.
