If so, what are you stats?

If you are talking about unweighted, I got in with a 3.43

SAT: 720 CR, 710 M ,730 W

Good EC's, decent personal statement

Got in with the presidential scholarship

I got in with a 3.2

my SAT scores were: 720 CR, 640 M, 690 W

i got a scholarship too

I got in with a 2.94, weighted

sats
m-710 cr-730 w-620

no aps no academic honors classes

good essay, good teacher/counselor recs good ec

merit scholar commended student

i'm pretty sure someone made a mistake in letting me in.. but hey, good for me!

^No, they accept about 12% students with a 2.0-2.9 I think..You have good SAT scores as well. Are you in state, b/c I think they are pushing for instate students a bit more now...

If your SATs are strong, you can definitely get accepted with below a 3.5 and maybe even get a scholarship.

what do you consider strong?
i got 700 reading 640 math 690 writing
(2030 total)

yes- 3.3
34 on my ACTs
and I got the pres scholarship

i got in with a 3.4

yeah i got in with a 3.2 but i had a 2110 on the SAT

Yeah...My friend got in with a 2.8 weighted...2.6 Uw...no minority/legacy/athletic status...but the save? a frickin 29 on his act...and he got the scholarship...over me who had like a 4.1 weighted and a 26 act. go figure.

that's stupid. if i looked at those two factors, i'd say this person is smart but doesn't apply themselves at all. i don't see why colleges want to accept someone like that. smarts are no good if you don't use them. and 29 is definatly not that high anyway.

Heh yeah I know right? I mean a 26 is ****ty but at least i tried lol. Although he did do reallllllly well this semester so I guess his essay must've kicked mucho arsay.
