Not Ivy League, Stanford or MIT, but Georgetown, Rice, Duke, Notre Dame (others may not consider it top 25 but it is close), Vanderbilt, and Northwestern? Looking at stats on here, people either have a 33+ and decent EC's, or 33 and below and unbelievable EC's. I have 33 and below and decent EC's, and I've never seen someone like me get into those schools. I am still taking the October ACT, so it is not the end of the world for me, but it'll be hard to get it up 2 points.

I have a 33 ACT. Do you really think it’s helpful for getting into good schools?

Yes, standardized scores are a big aspect of admissions.

It is hard to bump up your score, but it’s VERY doable! You need to bump it up to at least a 33, preferably higher.

I only have a few days to do it, my scores actually dropped from a 31 to a 30 the last time I took it so I don’t really know what to expect now. I always feel like I get everything right every test but when I get them back that is never the case.
