For such a respectable university, it's ridiculous that they're not posting all the results at once when they said they would. I'm sorry, but as I said before, I paid $65 (of my own money) to apply to NU, and I along with EVERYONE else should get the same treatment. They shouldn't be messing with our minds like they are

Patience and maturity have nothing to do with eachother..but then again, what's the point of fighting about a statement online, said on an online message board, and for a highly prestigious university.

Prospective students pay $65 for admissions to READ our applications. I don't see any reason why our complaints don't come warranted. Plus, if you're not going to contribute any helpful or moral support whatsoever, and insist on making these gratuitous comments, i implore that you do the same and s t f u.

BTW, it's the rude, inconsiderate little kids like you that colleges love pushing the rejection button on.

Leave this thread if you have nothing better to say - your insolence is not welcome.

I do think that we all pay the same money and we should all be notified in the same way. This really is in poor taste for Northwestern to pull this.

jeeeeeeeeez u guys are Unbelievable!! Isn't it freakin obvious that we all got rejected.....There was something wrong with the rejection computer Program....!! Get Over it Already......u definitely must have something better to do.

we've been anticipating this day for months, rejection or acceptance, and being obviously disappointed on so many levels I don't see any reason for me to "get over it already" being that thanks to the inconsideration of NU I have nothing to get over yet!!!!! If you have a problem with the venting stay out of the thread, it's as simple as that

Well..I guess technically, some of the engineering kids wouldn't have the right to complain then, eh? If they completed the first part of their apps online by Dec. 1, it was free (like I did, heh). Um, but sorry..I thought it was amusing.

I really do hope you guys get in. I mean, seriously, it's REALLY hard to believe that every one of you who hasn't gotten their decision online has been rejected..this being CC and all. You're all so bright.

I do not blame Northwestern University. Probably the fact that so many acceptances/waitlisted/rejections had to be uploaded that the uploading device just crashed due to the sheer volume of it all.

I sent a note to Princeton Review and to a NW dept. head ...just heard back from dept. head - he sent my note highlighting the problem to someone in admissions and urging them to fix the issue or send a note out to everyone explaining what is going on. Not sure that will work, but I had to do something other than read everyone's posts. I think everyone should consider the "early accepts and waitlists" just like the Williams or Dartmouth likely letters...others get accepted beyond those that receive "early" notification...I think that many of you will get in to NW, too....server crashed, program hiccuped...something.

I'm been following all the events today as well; I didn't get my decision either. NU was my first choice. I think we might as well accept the fact that we were rejected, it is unfortunately true, and move on. Why the hell would NU care about us anyway, we're rejected--no point filing a complaint.

im thinking of sending NU these threads and demanding an apology for their blatant rudeness. Rejected or not, we paid for a service and we get walked on. Thats poor business.

Their web site clearly says "Freshman Regular Decision - Late March". It is currently late March and it will still be late March for another 5 days. You guys can start b*tching when April comes around and you don't have your decisions yet. I also haven't received a decision and will probably be rejected, but as long as they tell me in "late March" I can't really say anything bad about them.

Sure it's crappy that they didn't do them all at the same time, but there are people still waiting on decisions for UC Irvine. I received my Irvine admission 26 days ago. I feel absolutely terrible for those people, but Irvine said they would start giving out decisions March 1st up till the end of March.

um okay 2+2, the reason we are upset is because we all received emails TELLING US our decisions are available online, and they aren't. don't be such a jackass.
