Has anyone gotten the regents invite yet?

my daughter got the email today. She’s a prospective engineer from SoCal. Letter H.

interesting, i thought cal only send out one wave of emails.

I got mine and applied for bioengineering.

I got mine as well today, didn’t know what it was, but glad to see its legit and I actually got into Berkeley :)!

Similar situation, 2380 SAT and 4.61 GPA. A few classmates with similar stats received Regents email and they will not be attending… UC Berkeley is one of my top choices so I’m pretty disappointed :frowning: Does anyone know if family income is a factor? Have all candidates been contacted?

Lower than 2200 SAT, and 4.35 GPA(I think), and got it

I was told by UCB financial aid office that the regent scholarship invitations are rolled out over the month of Feb, so there is hope for people who have not got it as yet.

cc helped us a lot with info before so i thought of sharing as a way of giving back. my son got regents scholarship fr cal & ucla 2 yrs ago. as soon as we got there for interview, the welcome lady said “congratulations for being accepted into cal”. we were told then that there were 1000 selected for interview (although i believe it was less), and 400 were offered/granted the scholarship, hoping that around 200 would enroll. there are around 800 (200/class) rs undergrads in the campus. i’ll answer any questions based on our experience. i recommend attending the overnight (conveniently the day before the interview), explore the campus & attend classess as well. he applied for bioe then.

^ Hillary now they include in the email “admittance is assured” so you didn’t spoil anything.
